Job Description

- Effective troubleshooter with the ability to manage time and prioritize efficiently with a keen ability to provide end-user technical support
- Detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure; and strengths in making swift, correct decisions in emergencies
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of equipment for both electrical and mechanical issues
- Conduct the repair and troubleshooting of major breakdowns on equipment such as presses, CNC benders, plastic, robotic production lines, and many other pieces of machinery
- Spearhead other responsibilities like; running conduit, pulling wire and installing power distribution
- Identify causes of equipment malfunctions and plan resolutions
- Document repair actions and turn logs into management daily
- Well-versed in schematics, mechanical/structural drawings, as well as wiring diagrams
- In-depth knowledge of different automated equipment, from production robots to basic handling Maintain & troubleshoot complex, continuous motion manufacturing equipment
- Design Electrical Schematics, Source Electrical Components
- Spearhead other responsibilities like; HMI Functionality & Design, PLC Programing
- Identify Improvements such as Die Protection, Counters and Shut Height Indicators
- Support engineering activities including process and equipment validations
- Help develop, draft, and update related manufacturing instructions following improvements made
- Ensure process stability and quality of production produced
- Collaborate with operations, process and equipment engineering, maintenance, quality, EHS, and other teams to improve process performance.
- Monitor and track Maintenance Department KPIs related to equipment performance “MTTR, MTTBF, PM Completion, PM Effectiveness.
- Use data to develop reliability improvement plans – Implement predictive maintenance strategies
- Establish and implement a CMMS system to track equipment downtime and cost of repairs as well as labor hours.
- Budget Management through planning/Scheduling to reduce labor cost and predictive measures to track and predict equipment failure eliminating major breakdowns to production. Increase visibility on high-cost equipment and focus on training.
- Analyze problems and resolve issues to ensure the complete system functions properly.
- Leadership style (Person to Person) strong ability to communicate, influence and establish safe and professional work culture.
- Automation/Controls experience building and maintaining complex automation/robotic lines and cells. Establish procedures for PM’s and day-to-day use.
