Job Description
As our Mobile Training Events Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in orchestrating educational and promotional events across various locations. Your primary responsibility will be to schedule, coordinate, and execute training sessions using our state-of-the-art mobile training bus. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about renewable energy, loves to travel, and excels in organizing events that are as educational as they are engaging.
A successful candidate must be able to:
- Plan and execute training events for solar installers, ensuring each session is informative and engaging.
- Organize the mobile training bus calendar, booking locations and managing logistics to maximize reach and impact.
- Work closely with sales and business-to-business (B2B) managers to ensure they are present at events to identify sales opportunities and foster future business relationships.
- Invite and confirm guest speakers who can provide additional value and expertise to the installers attending the training.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote training events, ensuring high attendance rates of the right audience.
- Handle all logistical aspects of the training events, including but not limited to, setup and breakdown of the event space, coordinating travel arrangements, and managing event
- Gather and analyze feedback from attendees and stakeholders to continuously improve the training experience.
- Build and maintain a good working relationship with installers.
- Attend product and technical training
A successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Proven experience in event coordination or a similar role, preferably in the renewable energy sector or technical fields.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel extensively to various training locations
- Ability to work independently, solve problems on the go, and adapt to changing situations.
- A passion for renewable energy and a commitment to promoting sustainable practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and comfortable with travel
- NABCEP Photovoltaic Associate certification.
Physical Requirements:
- This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, lifting 50+ lbs, bending, stooping, computer work, working with live electricity, and other physical activities. Candidates should be able to meet these physical demands with or without reasonable accommodations.
