Job Description

eEquals, a leading solar installation company passionate about bringing clean energy to communities, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Experience Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face (or voice) guiding our customers through every step of their solar power journey, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.

Description

Responsibilities:
  • Act as a primary point of contact for our valued customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns regarding solar installation, system operation, and billing.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and in-person interactions (depending on company structure).
  • Guide customers through the solar installation process, answering questions, explaining procedures, and managing expectations.
  • Proactively address customer concerns, troubleshoot issues, and find solutions to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collect customer feedback and utilize it to identify areas for improvement within the customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records within our CRM system.
  • Educate customers on solar energy benefits, system maintenance, and maximizing their solar power usage.
  • May provide post-installation support, ensuring customers understand how to operate and maintain their solar systems.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, installation crews, and project management, to ensure seamless communication and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize JIRA to track and manage tasks and features.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Experience with JIRA or similar ticketing systems.
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service with a positive and friendly attitude.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.

The targeted compensation for this role is between $22.00 per hour and $24.00 per hour, however, it may vary depending on location. Illinois compensation expectations are between $22.00 per hour and $24.00 per hour.
