**Job Overview:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, including residential homes that have solar on them. **Duties:** – Install and repair electrical fixtures, including lighting, outlets, and switches. – Read blueprints and schematics to identify electrical systems and components. – Work with commercial electrical systems, ensuring compliance with NEC regulations. – Conduct electrical tests using a voltmeter and other hand and power tools. – Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including identifying and addressing electrical leaks. – Utilize plumbing skills to install and maintain piping systems. – Collaborate with other tradespeople, including plumbers and carpenters, to ensure that electrical systems are integrated with other building systems. – Inspect and diagnose electrical issues, providing accurate and timely repairs. – Install and test electrical systems, including commercial electrical systems, in accordance with NEC regulations. **Requirements:** – A strong background in electrical work, with a focus on commercial electrical systems. – Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics. – Knowledge of NEC regulations and the ability to ensure compliance. – Experience with hand and power tools, including a voltmeter. – Familiarity with plumbing systems and the ability to install and maintain piping systems. – A commercial electrician certification is highly preferred. – A commitment to safety, with a focus on preventing electrical accidents and ensuring the safety of all electrical systems.
