Job Description

The Facility Business Analyst will be a vital member of the leadership team of the North American division of Edged Data Centers. We are looking for someone who provides experience operating critical environments, managing service agreements as well as controlling financial aspects of the business including purchase order and budget reviews. Responsibilities include ensuring that all contractual service obligations are met, facility maintenance coordination, maintaining accurate facility records, report creation, and supporting the organizations procurement activities. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of data center critical environment infrastructure.

The Facility Business Analyst needs to be an agile, team-focused individual, with proven professionalism, who is comfortable in a rapidly changing environment. Key Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to:

  • Operational Support:
  • Assist in the development and management of operating and capital budgets.
  • Prepare weekly spend review reports based on planned budget.
  • Assist with scheduling and tracking of datacenter Maintenance and Repair activities.
  • Working under direct supervision, provides routine day-to-day business operations support to multiple lines of business in an office.
  • Maintain training matrix with continual tracking for campus and filing of training data.
  • Assist in managing standards implementation for the site.
  • Develop dashboards, charts and/or spreadsheets to support communication of metrics and reporting.
  • Coordinate customer requests.
  • Support the Data Site Manager in the implementation of short and long-term projects for the client.
  • Evaluate cost savings opportunities and implement strategic projects to realize savings.
  • Ensure safety programs are followed.
  • Contract Management:
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements with vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure contracts comply with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Manage the financial and commercial aspects of site contracts including related PO and invoice reviews.
  • Track contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and terminations.
  • Maintain a centralized repository of all contracts and related documentation.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and resolve any potential disputes.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Monitor and assess the quality of operational outputs to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Implement measures to maintain and improve service quality.
  • Effectively allocate resources, including personnel and equipment, to meet operational demands.
  • Regularly assess service agreement providers performance against established KPI metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
  • Implement and monitor procedures to mitigate operational risks.

Skills & Requirements

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field (relevant work experience may be considered).
  • Minimum 2+ years relevant experience in contract administration.
  • Proven experience in a supervisor or managerial role within operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Efficient organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Technologically savvy with a willingness to independently learn new technical skills.
