If you are ready to take a next step in your career, and you feel that energy industry is where you can find the thrill (we definitely do!), keep reading – and if that’s a match, we’ll be happy to set you up with our HR crew for an interview.

Why E&C Consultants?

You can read more details here: Becoming an E&Cer, but in big lines:

Do you already feel like E&C is a place for you? Let’s see if this particular role is also what you’re good at.
As a Consultant you will be trusted with:

  • Risk Strategy: our clients need someone they trust to help them minimize risks when buying energy. You will be their guide and assist them in putting together a good purchasing and renewable strategy and negotiating energy contracts
  • Market Analysis: conducting market research to identify key trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape within the energy risk management sector
  • Sustainability and green energy buying: finding the best sustainable solutions (solar, wind, cogenerations) and supporting clients in contracting them
  • Projects: you will investigate the possibilities of renewable power purchase agreements for your clients.

We feel that to be successful & satisfied in this role, it’s good that you have:

  • Competencies: confident communication style, resilience, curiosity and eagerness to learn, creativity in finding solutions and solving problems. It’s also helpful to be well organized and have a flair for managing multiple priorities
  • Analytical thinking: you will be involved in the tendering process, where you will have to interpret the data and draw conclusions from it, and make calculations
  • Experience in client facing roles: 1-2 years would be great, however if you have less or more, but still feel it’s a fit, do not hesitate to apply
  • Education: bachelors degree in Consulting, Business or Energy Management, or a related field is preferred. Yet again – if you have a different one but still feel the thrill, let this not stop you!
  • Knowledge: basic understanding of energy markets, risk management solutions, and regulatory environment in North America are nice to have but we will be providing in-depth training upon onboarding
  • Keen interest in energy: you will be following energy market trends and local regulations and share them with your clients
  • Travel: willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and collaborate with team members (internationally).

We are open for freelancers to apply.
