About the role:
As the Forest Landowner Outreach Program Manager, youll work within our Sustainability Team and your primary responsibility will be to lead the development, launch, management, and implement a forest landowner assistance program aimed at the deliberate inclusion of local family-owned/underserved forest landowners in the US BECCS sourcing areas.
Within the role, youll lead a brand-new program along with building the systems from the ground up.
Who were looking for
To be successful in this role youll need to execute strong communication skills at all levels of the organization, with a passion for sustainability, and a solid understanding of sustainable forest management.
Youll need a degree in Natural Resources (i.e., forestry or wildlife preferred) and previous experience working with diverse stakeholders.
You must have a solid understanding of southern US forest management concepts and be a strong team player with the ability to collaborate and coordinate across different teams.
Additionally, you should have strong organizational and analytical skills, including proficiency in database management; experience with GIS/mapping is a plus.
Furthermore, you must have the ability to develop, manage, and support program growth, including a team of professional foresters who will be key to program success.
