DEPCOM Power is looking for a Training Manager to support the Services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all training aspects for the services team of more than 100 technicians. The Training Manager develops training programs or learning plans to support business goals, meet technical and compliance requirements, and lead technical training as applicable. This individual will need to identify and analyze metrics to measure the performance and success of learning solutions.

The Training Manager will also interface with OEM training providers to schedule manufacturer training as required.

This role will be based at our Scottsdale, AZ Training Facility.

What You Will Do

  • Liaison with training partner to provide oversight and administration of agreement, input and leadership of training content development and improvement.
  • Implement DEPCOM Services technician training program.
  • Serve as technician training program owner and administrator.
  • Lead technician training classes with initial support from a training partner.
  • Regularly communicate with Service leaders, Site Managers, and other team members across multiple locations to ensure alignment between business needs and the strategic learning plan and roadmap.
  • Provide professional development support for site and field service team members, helping identify and close gaps in training content and materials and identifying future training needs.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and facilities to design and develop role-specific training and learning content across other business lines (such as EPC, Safety, Commissioning, etc.).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify outdated or obsolete training and learning content.
  • Coordinate and manage the DEPCOM “On the Job Verification” program.
  • Track and monitor the training and qualification progress of technicians and provide progress updates and information to team leadership.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in utility-scale power plants or other industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated electrical field service or maintenance competence to lead technical training from existing curriculum.
  • Experience communicating with a variety of stakeholders across the organization to include senior leaders.
  • Experience in designing and executing successful learning programs aligned to strategic business priorities and goals using a variety of learning modalities.
  • Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple learning projects simultaneously.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time as dictated by business needs.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience in utility-scale solar facilities.
  • Extensive knowledge about adult learning methodologies and how to apply them to create high-impact learning experiences, particularly in the area of accelerated learning and microlearning.
  • Experience developing annual training plans and materials, at scale, for a company.
  • Experience using project management tools to support project management throughout a project lifecycle.
  • Experience managing learning and content management platforms.
  • Experience managing field service training needs.

For this role, we anticipate paying $90,000 – $120,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
