JOB SUMMARY

The Sr Maintenance Scheduler is responsible for scheduling and orchestrating Maintenance labor, materials, and service resources utilizing the Computerized Maintenance Management System and Scheduling Tool as prescribed by the Maintenance Work Process while ensuring all activities support and complement site Safety, Environmental, Reliability, Regulatory, and Production goals.

All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, and vision of the organization. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2 year / Associate Degree (Required)
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Four (4) or more years Oil & Gas or related experience (Required)
  • No Licensure or Certification Required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lead meetings (Required)

  • Ability to master the sites scheduling tool

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word: strong computer skills

  • Excellent organization / time management skills

  • Demonstrate written and oral communication skills

  • Primarily responsible for facilitating Weekly and Daily Scheduling Meetings

  • Primarily responsible for loading balanced work schedules.

  • Understand and execute assigned Maintenance Work Process responsibilities to support work process cohesion and collaboration.

  • Execute assigned work process responsibilities at or by the prescribed times and as designed.

  • Establish weekly and daily maintenance schedules in partnership with Operations, Maintenance, Planning, Engineering, Environmental, Safety, and Project groups to meet the priorities of the refinery, uphold the requirements of the business, and to optimize resources across the site.

  • Design the schedule to be a strategic balance of corrective and preventive / predictive work that loads Craft resources at full capacity for the upcoming week.

  • Utilize internal work order logic to optimize plans and schedule work effectively and efficiently; strategically bundle and schedule related work.

  • Monitor and manage future weeks Resource Availability rosters; ensure CMMS (SAP) resource tables are accurate.

  • Team Player able to work with a diverse workforce

  • Manage and update work order job steps to progress work to completion:

    • Final Confirm completed job steps when necessary

    • Extend and/or reschedule job steps as necessary

    • Modify / add job steps when necessary

  • Partner with Leadership to:
    • Monitor and analyze Resource Utilization, Schedule Attainment / Compliance, Craft Backlog, and Safety / Environmentally sensitive Work Order metrics on a weekly basis.
    • Monitor and analyze PM Compliance Metrics (Regulatory / Statutory and Reliability) on a monthly basis.
  • Work with Planners to assist them in understanding how planning affects scheduling
  • Prepare for, attend, participate in / lead / and/or facilitate Work Process Meetings:
    • Morning Schedule Review & Coordination Meeting
    • Weekly Planning and Scheduling Team Meeting
    • Weekly Planning and Scheduling Priority Setting Meeting
    • Upcoming Weeks Schedule Review Meeting
    • Daily Schedule Update / Schedule Review Meeting
    • Monthly Backlog Management Meeting
  • Develop a working knowledge of PM Planning fundamentals
  • Schedule owner for all non-TA, Outage work
  • Collaborate with site management, contractors and technicians regarding the maintenance schedule and findings
  • Communicate with all levels of Maintenance, Operations, and Reliability organization abnormal or critical situations and seeks advice on matters outside of own knowledge and authority
