We are a boutique-sized diversified downstream energy company with a range of assets, including petroleum refining, logistics, renewable fuels, and convenience store retailing.

  • Our refineries in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana have a combined crude capacity of 302,000 barrels per day
  • Our logistics business currently owns and operates 720 miles of crude and product pipelines, a 600-mile crude oil gathering system, and storage tanks and terminals.
  • Our Retail or convenience store part of Delek, runs over 250 stores in Texas and New Mexico. We also have company-branded New-to-Industry DK stores in the southern part of the US!
  • Our three renewables plants in Texas, Arkansas, and Mississippi combined can produce 40 million gallons of biodiesel fuel a year.

JOB SUMMARY

Development, implementation and maintenance of enterprise strategy for occupational safety including management systems standards, and programs to identify and reduce or eliminate hazards. Provides technical expertise and support on occupational safety issues including occupational health and industrial hygiene, safety regulations, control methods and best practices. Leads the development and implementation of measurement systems and analytics that drive continuous improvement in occupational safety across the enterprise. Supports field occupational safety and health resources with mentoring, guidance and feedback. Creates safety engagement across the enterprise. Leads Learning from Incidents Process for the enterprise.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 4 year / Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Six (6) or more years Management Experience (Required)
  • Fifteen (15) or more years experience in a safety related field. (Required)
  • No Licensure or Certification Required.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Develops and maintains enterprise strategy for safety including standards, programs and related work practices and tools to identify and reduce/eliminate hazard exposures.
  • Ensures compliance with governmental regulations and industry standards.
  • Develops, implements and maintains standardized methodologies, tools and technologies to assist and support sites with identification and risk evaluation of hazard exposures and implementation of appropriate control strategies.
  • Manages enterprise education, training and communications programs on recognition, avoidance and prevention to foster safety culture and integration of industrial and occupational safety programs and practices.
  • Promotes awareness and assessment of human and organizational factors, that contribute to incident causation and reporting.
