Job Description

Are you ready to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of renewable energy? As a Renewables Senior SCADA Engineer, you will spearhead the design, implementation, and testing of innovative SCADA projects.

Collaborate with clients to bring their vision to life, covering wind, solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and hybrid projects.

What You’ll Do:

  • Innovative Design and Programming: Craft state-of-the-art SCADA systems for substations, solar projects, wind farms, BESS, and hybrid facilities. Program SEL RTACs or other PLCs, ensuring optimal performance and developing, testing, and fine-tuning power plant controllers.
  • Client Collaboration and Documentation: Develop detailed SCADA drawing packages, adhering to client standards. Create comprehensive Control Narratives and related documentation for PPC, participating in regular design meetings to refine project plans.
  • Ongoing Support and Software Development: Provide continuous SCADA support for new and existing projects, including on-site assistance. Design and develop intuitive HMI software for renewable energy projects.
  • Technical and Team Support: Offer expert technical assistance to the project team during installation and commissioning. Work seamlessly with other project team members to achieve common goals.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Over 3 years of SCADA experience with a strong background in PPC development.
  • RTU Experience: Familiarity with SEL RTAC or similar RTUs.
