ProStar Energy, a Crete United Company, knows the ins and outs of alternate energy possibilities, regulations and standards. From initial assessment to installation and maintenance, we work together to find opportunities for energy savings and implement renewables where it makes sense.

Our renewable energy team is expanding and looking to add a Pre-Sales Analyst based in Frisco, TX. The Pre-Sales Analyst is responsible for running ETB models, analyzing state/utility incentive programs, and create proposals. Working hand in hand with our Project Development Manager and our Sales Manager to bring projects through the sales cycle.

  • Modeling renewable energy solutions such as solar, battery storage, EV charging, and microgrids using software tools such as Energy Toolbase and Helioscope.
  • Analyzing customers’ utility bills to determine appropriate renewable energy upgrades
  • Drafting proposals for renewable projects
  • Understanding renewable incentive programs, clearly communicating them to the sales team, and applying them to the pre-sales process.
  • Working directly with utilities on project interconnection and incentive capture
  • Understanding the regulatory environments for renewables
  • Managing site audits and compiling site audit results
  • Determining equipment pricing by communicating with vendors
  • The Pre-Sales Analyst, Renewables (SME: Renewable Incentives) is a member of the Renewables Team and reports to the Project Development Manager, Renewables.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sustainability, energy, or related field (BSEE/BSME).
  • 3+ years of solar industry experience required
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with particular emphasis on Excel and the ability to create models as needed.
  • Success at consistently achieving goals as an individual and a team.
  • Demonstrate high business acumen, strong interpersonal skills, best-in-class communication in all forms, and organization skills.
  • Able to engage with and present to C-level executives and below.
  • Handle multiple tasks, prioritize goals, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Track record of conducting business that coincides with ProStar’s company mission.
  • Able to work nights and weekends as business requires and travel an estimated fifteen percent (15%) of time.
