As we expand our operations, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

As a Project Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting our on-site Construction Manager at various job sites. Your primary responsibilities will include handling scheduling, part orders, Bill of Materials (BOM), permit applications, coordinating and tracking engineering and permit plan set creation, managing overall project schedules, and monitoring job progress. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial solar projects, coupled with a background in project management or project engineering.

Responsibilities:

– Collaborate closely with the Construction Manager to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to timelines.

– Utilize project management tools, including Project Gantt Charts, to develop comprehensive project schedules, identifying critical paths and key milestones.

– Manage and maintain project schedules, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and within budget.

– Coordinate and track the creation of engineering and permit plan sets, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

– Facilitate the procurement process by handling part orders and managing the Bill of Materials (BOM).

– Assist in permit applications and liaise with relevant authorities to obtain necessary approvals.

– Track and report project progress, highlighting any potential risks or delays to the project team.

– Maintain effective communication channels between the construction team, clients, and internal stakeholders.

– Utilize Google Sheets or similar software to manage project-related data, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.

Qualifications:

– A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial solar installations, demonstrating a strong understanding of the industry.

– Background in project management or project engineering, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.

– Experience working with Project Gantt Charts and identifying critical paths in project schedules.

– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.

– Proficiency in using Google Sheets or similar tools to manage project-related data and track progress.

– Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

– Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

– Familiarity with local permit application processes and regulations related to solar installations is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
