**Job Title: Solar Technician**

**Job Summary:**

We are looking for a dedicated Solar Technician to join our team. The primary scope of this position is to perform residential solar inspections in the NOVA region. Secondary scope is pre-install site surveys and post-install service. Candidates need a clean driving record with minimal violations over the past five years. This position requires the use of company vehicles. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the installation team to ensure seamless project execution and uphold the highest standards of quality.

**Duties:**

– Install solar panel systems in compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

– Utilize electrical and hand tools to complete installations efficiently.

– Perform fixture installations, including mounting panels and connecting wiring.

– Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine optimal panel placement.

– Assist in plumbing and wiring tasks necessary for solar panel connections.

– Safely operate a forklift for material transportation on job sites.

– Adhere strictly to safety protocols, especially when working with high voltage equipment and at elevated heights.

**Requirements:**

– Proficiency in electrical work, including knowledge of NEC regulations.

– Ability to read and understand blueprints accurately.

– Experience with power tools, hand tools, and voltmeters.

– Familiarity with high voltage systems and safety procedures.

– Comfort working on roofs and at heights.

– Competence in plumbing tasks related to solar installations.

– Prior experience with forklift operation is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 – $27.00 per hour
