Commonwealth Fusion Systems (CFS) has the fastest, lowest cost path to commercial fusion energy.
CFS collaborates with MIT to leverage decades of research combined with groundbreaking new high-temperature superconducting (HTS) magnet technology. The Senior Electronics Engineer will be responsible for the design, sourcing, implementation, testing, installation, and commissioning of custom electronics required for various I&C systems throughout the SPARC tokamak and plant. This individual will translate requirements from Instrumentation, Diagnostics, and Controls Engineers into practical, reliable electronic designs and assemblies which interface both with field and infrastructure hardware. This individual will own their designs from concept development, through detailed design and simulation, generating fabrication and assembly files or contracting out design deliverables as necessary and will support installation and commissioning of their hardware in the field either directly or by generating documentation packages.
