Remote PE Industrial Electrical Design Engineer

COGS are assisting an industry leading waste management, renewable energy & power generation company as they seek to bring on a driven and ambitious Remote PE Industrial Electrical Design Engineer into their corporate engineering group. This is a growth position and supports the ongoing capital upgrade and extension of their several US based power plants.

For this position COGS client is searching for an exceptional engineers with many years design experience and competency with:

• Design of One lines/three lines/AC &DC schematics
• Hands on design experience developing drawing packages
• Design of One Wiring diagrams/ logic diagrams/functional diagrams & GA drawings
• Design and troubleshooting of Electrical switch gears, relay protection
• Designing voltage control, high voltage breaker circuits, power distributions, pumps etc…
• Working with steam turbines and generators
• Brownfield project & retrofit projects of existing facilities alongside major capital expansion
• Designing electrical infrastructure by working with predominantly high voltage work, from 4.1 KV to 230KV+

The salary for this position is up to 150-175K Base + Bonus Depending on Experience etc…

This position has some travel associated with it. This is primarily in the North East, then Florida and sometimes the Midwest.
