Responsible for:

Your position within the finance team will be multi-purpose and based on the following missions:

Monitor the performance of assigned own entity portfolio.

Analyze and challenge the monthly performance of assigned scope, year-end forecasts, as well as variances with the annual budget.

Produce and report monthly the financial/ operational KPIs for the CMA CGM top management.

Propose and trigger necessary actions to detect / correct any fluctuations and misreporting items.

Participate in the preparation of annual budgets and validation meetings process with the CMA CGM top management.

Develop relationship with network CFOS, management, and various group departments: you are the main entrance point between the entities, regional office and head office regarding financial specific topics and validations.

Ensure the entities of your scope tackle on time and successfully the external audits and intervene when necessary.

Analyze and contribute to the regional reporting in terms of OPEX, cash management & repatriation, tax mitigation and other financial topics.

Perform internal control missions, ensuring the compliance and alignment of your entities with group policies, rules, and procedures.

Cross-cutting missions :

Perform financial analysis to support certain decision-making processes and financial control (IRR, valuation, cash flow projection, breakeven calculation).

Lead projects and elaborate financial models for business development and acquisitions: analyze project market, project P&L, perform due diligences, review assumptions, pilot expert team efforts (technical, legal, financial, etc.), coordinate stakeholders requests and assist in leading negotiations.

Contribute to the improvement of tools, processes, data reporting for performance monitoring.

Participate on cross-cutting topics in coordination with numerous internal departments within CMA CGM as follows: accounting, legal, cash, procurement, tax, consolidation, cost savings.

Supporting transformation and efficiency

All other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and abilities required:

Postgraduate degree (+5 years) in Business or Engineering with significant financial skills.

4 years experience in Audit or in Transaction Services with a strong accounting component or in a financial department (controlling) in a company.

Familiar with French GAAP as well as IFRS.

Bilingual English and Spanish.

Advanced Proficiency in Excel
