Join our team as a Program Director living in New Jersey! In this role, you will be responsible for successfully managing all phases of residential program service offerings throughout the state. You will manage the contracts, budgets, implementation, and performance of energy savings offers such as efficient equipment rebates and in home energy efficiency improvements. As a Program Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the contracted scopes of work
  • Building a team and directing the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, marketing, delivery, analytics, and administrative areas
  • Preparing and managing operations plans, financial forecasts, marketing plans, quality control plans, and all contract terms and deliverables
  • Interacting and managing the client Program Administrators to ensure client satisfaction with program performance
  • Acting as the primary client contact for project activities
  • Establishing milestones and monitoring adherence to work plans and schedules to ensure new projects launch on time and client expectations are exceeded
  • Identifying work problems and collaborate with multiple support teams to develop solutions such as re-allocation of resources or changing contractual scopes
  • Developing strategies and tactics to exceed contractual milestones in response to market changes

  • Managing a portfolio of projects exceeding $10M in annual revenue
  • Overseeing the creation and execution of contracts
  • Building and leading cross-functional teams typically consisting of 30+ people
  • With direct people management of ~5-10 people
  • Managing complex and varied portfolio of projects
  • With business development and client/account management
  • With home construction, remodeling, energy efficiency, building science OR familiarity with ENERGY STAR, Building Performance Institute, Association of Energy Energizers, residential energy codes, New Jersey building codes, or the New Jersey Clean Energy Program
  • Working with Salesforce, Workday, and Workday Adaptive Planning or similar type activity and financial tracking systems

In this exciting career opportunity, you will have…

  • Relevant work experience such as 10+ years project management and relevant technical and / or business experience
  • 8+ years people leadership and management
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
  • Building performance certifications not required but preferred

Target Compensation

$160,000-$185,000* plus bonus

* Pending experience and strength of alignment with position requirements
