Join our team as an Associate Program Manager living in New Jersey! In this role, you will be responsible for successfully managing all phases of residential program service offerings in a region of the state. You will manage the contracts, budgets, implementation, and performance of energy savings offers such as efficient equipment rebates and in home energy efficiency improvements. As an Associate Program Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the contracted scopes of work.
  • Managing a team and the work of employees assigned to a set of programs from technical, marketing, delivery, analytics, and administrative areas.​
  • Managing operations plans, financial forecasts, marketing plans, quality control plans, and all contract terms and deliverables.
  • Interacting and supporting a client to ensure they are satisfied with your team’s performance.
  • Acting as the primary client contact for project activities.
  • Establishing milestones and monitoring adherence to work plans and schedules to ensure new projects launch on time and client expectations are exceeded.
  • Identifying work problems and collaborating with multiple support teams to develop solutions such as re-allocation of resources or changing contractual scopes.

  • ​Managing a portfolio of projects (typically less than $1M in annual revenue)
  • Contributing to the creation and execution of contracts
  • Building and leading cross-functional teams typically consisting of 2-5 people
  • With direct people management of ~1-4 people
  • Managing complex and varied portfolio of projects
  • With home construction, remodeling, energy efficiency, building science
  • Or familiarity with ENERGY STAR, Building Performance Institute, Association of Energy Energizers, Residential Energy Codes, New Jersey Building Codes, or the New Jersey Clean Energy Program
  • Working with Salesforce, Workday, and Workday Adaptive Planning or similar type activity and financial tracking systems

In this exciting career opportunity, you will have…

  • Relevant work experience, 2-4 years project management or relevant technical and / or business experience
  • 1+ year people leadership and management
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
  • Building performance certifications not required but preferred
  • Must reside in New Jersey

Target Compensation:

$115,000 – $125,000
