Description
Under the direct supervision of our Distributed Energy Resources Manager, this position coordinates and conducts inspections of private and public projects involving public electric utilities and infrastructure, ensuring they are completed in accordance with both Utility and City standards and specifications.
The salary range for this position is $26.83 – $37.56 per hour with a hiring range of $26.83 – $32.20 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

This field position is responsible for the inspection of the Electric Utility’s customers’ Solar and DER integration projects. Customer service and engagement throughout the DER integration process is crucial in supporting Platte River Power Authority (PRPA) and its owner communities’ vision to achieve 100% renewable energy by 2030.

Qualifications
Education: High School or GED
Required Experience: 1 year of experience performing electrical inspections or related duties to include maintenance and inspection of repairs.
Preferred Experience: Previous knowledge of electric metering, utility service equipment, solar, battery, and other DER interconnections.
Certifications: Must possess a valid driver’s license.
