About This Opportunity

We are seeking a Business Analyst Sales Operations who will be a key member of the Customer Engagement team, which encompasses the companys business development and sales functions. The Business Analyst plays an integral role in managing Cascades CRM, analyzing sales and revenue data, and supporting Cascades proposal process to win new work. The Business Analyst uses data to tell stories and translates business questions and requirements into insights, tools, and reporting in order to inform our decision-making and strategies. The Business Analyst co-leads the management of Cascades CRM, including user support and data maintenance. They provide insights that help Cascades Leadership Team decide which business opportunities to pursue, the profitability of our services, and how we demonstrate the value we offer our customers.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • CRM Administration: Manage all aspects of Cascades CRM, including reviewing/formatting/importing complex and oftentimes ambiguous datasets from clients into Pipedrive (CRM software); engaging with teams company-wide and presenting on Pipedrive training, enhancements, and program adoption; ensuring all customer records are accurate and centralized; consulting with other Customer Engagement team members to optimize the systems data field settings, usership, and other account settings.
  • Revenue & Sales Pipeline: Maintain, enhance, and develop reporting and analysis that provide insight into Cascade’s financial and sales performance using tools such as Excel, Pipedrive, Ajera, Power BI, and Power Query.
  • Proposal Pricing: Work collaboratively with proposal teams to oversee proposal budgets and pricing strategies from development to contract signing.
  • Tool Development: Own, maintain, and enhance existing tools used to generate standard proposal budgets. Collaborate with F&A and other stakeholders to create new tools that automate/streamline the proposal process and train others to use them.
  • Customer Engagement Operations: Take on new projects, initiatives, and reports that support the teams overall business development and sales performance. Learn new concepts and processes that can be applied to reporting and analysis improvements.
  • Program Analytics: Provide analytical support to various program teams, take on special projects with little to no prior knowledge of program specifics. Successfully meet deadlines and play a key role in the program’s success.

This is a full-time, exempt position with preference given to Portland OR candidates. We are also open to non-Portland candidates with a willingness to travel approximately 2 times per year to Corporate Office.

Qualifications

Applicants for this role are required to have:

  • Bachelors degree in business, economics, finance, engineering, or equivalent technical background
  • 4-6 years of experience in a relevant role, with a track record of escalating responsibility over time
  • Experience with CRM systems or similar databases
  • Expert experience with Excel and related analytical applications

A successful candidate should also demonstrate these preferred characteristics and/or skills:

  • Experience being part of a business development and sales team
  • Experience in Energy Industry

Compensation & Benefits

Our total rewards include competitive pay and excellent benefits. These include health (90% paid for team member, 70% paid for dependents on HDHP plans and 85% paid for team member, 65% paid for dependents on PPO plans), vision, FSA or HSA options with an employer contribution, life insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, paid parental leave, 401k retirement plan with a guaranteed 3% contribution, Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), annual cash performance bonus, paid vacation, sick time, and an inclusive, flexible paid holiday policy. New for 2024 we are excited to add an additional wellbeing contribution of $500 for HSA, FSA, or LSA (Lifestyle Spending Account).

The salary range for this position in Portland OR is $75,000 – $91,000. However, final salary offered may vary depending on non-discriminatory factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experiences, and geographical location if different than the above.
