Job Description

Carter Maddox are working closely with one of the leading BESS manufacturers who are looking to grow their US sales team. We are searching for a highly skilled profile with direct experience in BESS sales at the utility scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage the full sales cycle for utility scale BESS, including lead generation, closing sales, securing and developing accounts.
  • Attend regional and national trade events in order to increase brand awareness, communicate with existing clients, and prospect new ones.
  • Target with major utilities, developers, IPPs, and EPCs.
  • Collet market information and conduct market research to inform strategic direction with regards to sales strategies and goal-making.
  • Support the product marketing strategy by providing actionable information from in-the-field experience.
  • Work as a part of a wider utility-scale sales team in order to drive revenue growth and market share for the company.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of direct sales experience within the BESS hardware space
  • Active connections within potential sales targets
  • Comprehensive understanding of the utility-scale BESS industry
  • Technical understanding of BESS and ability to conduct technical conversations with prospective clients is preferred
  • Bachelors degree is required.
  • Ability to travel as is necessary in order to hit targets
