Job Summary

We seek a motivated Jr. Project Manager to assist in overseeing various aspects of our renewable energy projects. In this role, you will work closely with senior project managers to coordinate people, processes, and resources, ensuring projects are completed successfully and on schedule. The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and has a strong interest in project management within the renewable energy sector.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating internal and external resources
  • Collaborate with stakeholders under the guidance of senior project managers
  • Help develop project scopes and objectives
  • Track adherence to project budgets and timelines
  • Assist in ensuring necessary resources are available and allocated to projects
  • Help develop project plans and milestones
  • Measure and report on project progress to senior management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Environmental Science, or related field
  • 0-2 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in renewable energy
  • Familiarity with project management software
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks appropriately
  • Highly organized with the ability to assist in managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Basic technical understanding of renewable energy technologies, especially solar
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working towards PMP certification
  • Experience with utility-scale solar projects
  • Knowledge of California energy regulations and permitting processes
