The Role:
Imagine yourself working for #CALSTART where you will support electric school bus adoption through the Cal Fleet Advisor Program. The Project Manager 2 will provide guidance and education to school bus fleets throughout California by giving planning support and connecting fleets to tools and resources.
- Provide technical assistanceto school bus fleets primarily in California
- Develop education resources and tools for school bus fleets to help with ESB adoption
- Develop outreach messaging and recruitment strategies to accelerate fleet electrification for school bus fleets
- Conduct public outreach including meeting/conference presentations,webinar presentations, and staffing booths at conferences to promote our work
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering environmental science urban planning transportation planning or related field of study
- Two years in electric vehicle or infrastructure technologies
- Three years of project management planning or administrative work
- Experience working on several priorities simultaneously against deadlines
- Familiarity with electric vehicle and charging industry
- Understanding of general industry landscape around zero emission vehicle adoption
- Project management
- MS suite proficiency
- Research skills
- Prior experience working in or with electric school buses and/or school districts
- Experience with electric vehicle deployment or infrastructure installation
- Familiarity with government programs and funding opportunities for electric vehicles and infrastructure
CALSTART values transparency and strives to provide as much information regarding compensation as possible. The complete salary range for this role is $72,000 – $85,760. We determine pay based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, education, internal equity and other factors relevant to the job.
