Inventory Planner – BWX Technologies, Inc. – Euclid, OH

Support all scheduling requirements of necessary paperwork and raw material availability for production floor. Controls incoming and outgoing material from stock cribs and MRB crib. Manages/controls government furnished material and supplier returned material.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately identify incoming and outgoing material in production storage cribs.
  • Manage housekeeping of production storage cribs, and maintain overall warehouse organization.
  • Issuance of new production releases, raw material, weld wire, and subcomponents according to production schedule demand.
  • Daily verification and issue of WIP subcomponents as required to support shop floor thru-put and lot integrity.
  • Coordinate vendor manufactured subcomponents for production: pick components/material from inventory, supervise their processing for production preparation (saw, other manufacturing operations).
  • Stock components in production storage cribs, perform necessary SAP transactions.
  • Inventory transfer process: perform required verification and re-identification of materials.
  • SAP transactions to ensure proper material traceability.
  • Perform stock ticket distributions and communicate discrepancies accordingly.
  • Assemble production routing folders.
  • Identify and control scrap and MRB hardware.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through system adherence and periodic auditing.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum six (6) years experience in Inventory Management.
  • High school diploma is required, Associates degree is preferred.
  • Above average computer competency and SAP experience preferred.
  • Ability to work well independently and with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to coordinate between multiple disciplines and personalities.
  • Above average communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High energy, well organized, able to multi-task and capable of planning ahead.
  • Desire to take ownership of work area.

Pay: $54,000 – $88,000

The base salary range for this position in Ohio (US-OH) at the start of employment is expected to be between $54,000 and $88,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed ‘at-will, unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement. The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and other market factors.
