Cost & Inventory Accountant (6 month contract – remote)

Our client is a U.S. manufacturing company that builds decarbonization solutions for heavy construction industry partners. They are looking to bring on an experienced cost and inventory accountant for a 6 month contract to help them transition to focus more on inventory management and cost accounting using Plex (https://www.plex.com/) ERP system. The candidate would help the team establish cost accounting and inventory valuation procedures, work with the team for a period of ~6 months while helping them get up to speed and assist with the transition to the Plex.com ERP system.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in cost accounting and inventory management with a manufacturing or engineering company and experience with Plex.

Note this is a full remote role that is expected to work U.S. PST time zone (Seattle)

Requirements:

• 4+ years of cost and inventory accounting experience
• Knowledge of Plex ERP is a big plus
• Knowledge of US GAAP required
• Passion for building and developing process improvements
• Strong accountability and detail oriented. Ability to work independently and solve complex problems. Excellent communication skills.
