Position Overview:
As the Senior Project Manager and Estimator of Renewable Energy at Bragg Companies, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the successful execution of our renewable energy projects from conception to completion. You will be responsible for estimating project costs, coordinating resources, managing project timelines, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. This is a project based employment with a duration of 9-14 months. There is also a possibility for this role to become permanent with the company.
Responsibilities:
- Estimation and Cost Management:
- Develop accurate and comprehensive project cost estimates, considering materials, labor, equipment, permits, and other relevant factors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze project requirements, assess risks, and develop cost-effective solutions.
- Continuously monitor and control project costs throughout the lifecycle to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Coordination with Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable. Creating and managing upstream and downstream Payment Applications and corresponding Schedule of Values.
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Lead the development of project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to ensure efficient project execution.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential bottlenecks or issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedule and quality standards.
- Attendance and Scheduling of Pre-Construction, Construction, and Close-Out meetings with Customers, Subcontractors, and General Contractors
- Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and fostering positive relationships.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates, resolving issues, and addressing any concerns or feedback.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to manage expectations and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Providing project status reports to Bragg Management and Clients
- Quality Assurance and Safety Compliance:
- Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
- Monitor project sites for compliance with safety regulations, identify potential hazards, and implement necessary safety protocols to minimize risks.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance and address any non- compliance issues promptly.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead a team of project engineers, coordinators, and other project staff, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, encouraging innovation, teamwork, and professional growth.
- Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and facilitate skill development initiatives for team members.
What We Are Looking for in Our Project Manager:
- A college degree holder with at least five years of Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) installation experience OR five years of experience managing people in the renewables industry.
- A motivated self-starter, comfortable working in a challenging environment.
- A proven leader with demonstrated integrity and ethical standards.
- A team player, with the ability to work productively with both internal peers/employees and external customers.
- Experience in a union workforce environment.
- Full understanding of Design Drawings and Specifications
- Knowledgeable in OSHA and other related regulations.
- Experience with ISO9001 Standards
- Strong commitment to safety and fully committed to maintaining a safe working environment.

Additional Qualifications:
- Proven history of profit and loss management to maximize project financial performance.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- High level of accountability, time management, and willingness to learn all aspects of the business.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project along with the ability to learn company-specific operating platforms.
- Experience in developing expectations with crews to ensure compliance and a high level of customer service.
- Solid understanding of the construction industry
- Requires little to no direct training or supervision
- Ability to travel and maintain full-time onsite presence during project execution
Environmental Conditions:
- Works in a climate-controlled office.
- May work outdoors on uneven surfaces.
- May be required to sit and stand for long periods.
- Occasionally required to stoop, bend, and crouch.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a phone and computer.
- Must be able to lift up to fifteen (15) pounds.
Work Location: Long Beach, CA and Project site in a remote area (CA)

Salary: $135,000-$175,000/year (The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum salary for this position, and individual salary will be based on skills, qualifications, and experience). This range is just one component of the total package.
