Salary: $30 – $35 per hour (first 3 months), increasing to $60+ per hour based on performance and experience

We are seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a strong understanding of capital raising and finance to join our team. This position will collaborate closely with our CFO to lead operations, manage global initiatives, and drive the company’s long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of Bottom Billion Corporation, ensuring efficient processes and high performance across all departments.
- Collaborate closely with the CFO to develop and implement strategic growth initiatives.
- Play a key role in capital raising efforts, including developing financial strategies, investor relations, and securing funding for ongoing and future projects.
- Manage international projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and effective execution of operations in diverse markets.
- Supervise business development activities, driving profitability, operational efficiency, and scalability of BBCs initiatives.
- Work with the finance team to manage budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting for various projects.
- Help build partnerships with investors, brokers, and financial institutions in key international markets.
- Lead operational risk management and implement best practices to improve operational performance.
- Identify growth opportunities in existing and new markets, with a focus on Africa and Asia.
- Support and mentor a team of managers and operational staff to ensure effective execution of company goals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior operations role, preferably as a COO or similar executive-level position.
- Strong understanding of capital raising, finance, and financial strategies.
- Basic understanding of international markets and a willingness to learn and expand knowledge of global operations.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work within a startup environment.
- Ability to manage multiple international projects while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Experience in investor relations and the ability to attract capital for various projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to work for $30 – $35 per hour for the first 3 months, with salary scaling to $60+ per hour based on performance.
- Willingness to work in a flexible, remote environment with potential for international travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in impact investment, affordable housing, or renewable energy industries.
- Familiarity with emerging markets in Africa and Asia.
- Experience working with financial institutions or investors on capital raising and investment projects.
