We are looking for a Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our team in one of todays most exciting technologies. This role will report to Manager, Field Services and is remote, based in our Field office San Jose, CA.
Role and Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on fuel cell systems
  • Maintain a service vehicle
  • Maintain spare part and tool inventories
  • Work with customers to access facilities
  • Document and report on work performed using standard company computer programs
  • Dispatch from an area within the given service territory and advantageous for Field Service operations
  • Travel within the Region in performance of duties (<25%)
Skills and Experience:
  • The following MINIMUM levels of experience and or education are required:
    • High School Diploma or GED Required
    • Time spent working on machinery, engines, appliances, or electrical equipment -AND/OR-
    • Active or reserve duty military
  • Basic understanding of working safely, especially with electricity and in construction/industrial environments
  • Team player who exhibits a high degree of integrity and professionalism
  • Motivated and able to work independently
  • Capable to follow procedures as written
  • Demonstrates self-initiative and sound judgment
  • Basic electrical/mechanical aptitude
  • Preferred light duty rigging experience (~200lbs.)
  • Ability to work with typical mechanics hand tools and equipment
  • Communicates clearly in technical capacity both written and verbal
  • Able to navigate basic use of a laptop
  • Preferred experience driving a large van or truck
  • Clean driving record required

Salary Ranges:

$22.79 – $34.74
