Lead Solar Installer

We are a medium sized company that has been growing rapidly. The individuals that we are seeking must be mechanically inclined to work in the field as a Solar Installer. The Installers responsibility is to install photovoltaic (PV) systems onto our customers residence to provide a renewable resource for years to come.
When there is no work for the Solar Division there will be work for the Electrical Division where you will learn Commercial Electric. A new career path for you to learn and grow in.
Responsibilities:
- Installing rooftop PV arrays
- Layout rooftop design from plans
- Installation of racking, panels, and inverters
- Piping, wiring, and landing of solar circuits
- Testing and maintaining of solar system
- Troubleshooting String and Microinverter systems
Required Skills:
- PV Solar Installation Experience
- Piping, wiring, and solar circuits experience
- Able to work well with others
- Comfortable with two story buildings
- Familiar with OSHA and fall safety equipment
- Professional Appearance and able to communicate with customers
- Detail oriented and self-motivated
- Mechanically Inclined
Required Experience:
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge of solar installation, construction and/or roofing
Education:
- High school or equivalent
- Installer certification is a plus

Pay: $23.00 – $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
