We are seeking a Human Resources Administrator to partner with the Director of Human Resources to drive company culture, recruitment, onboarding of new employees, succession planning, leave administration, employee activities, training and development, off boarding and support various human resources functions / initiatives as directed.

Essential Responsibilities

Overall, the role of a Human Resources Administrator is critical in supporting the HR department and ensuring that the organization maintains a positive and productive work environment while complying with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities Include

  • Recruitment Post jobs in the applicant tracking system, identify qualified candidates, screen applicants.
  • Onboarding: Schedule drug testing and fit for duty appointments, complete I9 verifications, conduct new hire orientations, schedule onboarding training.
  • Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, attendance, leave, and performance evaluations, often using HR software systems.
  • Benefits Administration: Assist employees with inquiries related to benefits packages, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks; also, be responsible for managing the leave administration process.
  • Training and Development: Assign online training to employees, upload completed onsite training programs into training database, and ensure training dates are continually updated.
  • Exit Interviews and Offboarding: Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback from departing employees and identify areas for improvement. The successful candidate will also manage administrative tasks related to the termination process, including distribution and review of offboarding paperwork and collection of company property.
  • General Administrative Support: Assist the HR team with various administrative tasks, including maintaining filing systems, scheduling meetings, preparing documents and presentations, and completing forms for employee status changes.

Job Requirements / Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree with 2+ year of Human Resources experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience
  • Must be detail oriented and well organized.
  • Must have effective communication skills and be a team player.
