We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Underwriter to join our Cyber Wholesale underwriting team, one of our rapidly growing and dynamic segments within the Cyber underwriting unit. The individual will be responsible for servicing a renewal book, and producing new business, and building new distribution channels through exceptional underwriting practices throughout North America.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Senior Underwriter/Team Lead will be responsible for building and executing a business plan to expand on Cybers Central regions existing Wholesale portfolio, aligning within the overall Cyber business growth strategy.
- Assist in achieving profitable premium and rate goals, working with actuarial and claims and successfully delivering results consistent with financial plan.
- Underwrite, manage and service a cyber and technology renewal book and produce new business in accordance with the Cyber underwriting unit goals. Maintain existing and grow new relationships with wholesale brokers throughout the region.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the analysis and evaluation of risk.
- Participate in roundtable discussions on risk assessment.
- Negotiate with producers within the limits of delegated authority and in accordance with established underwriting standards to achieve profit objectives.
- Maintain expertise with the products, services, priorities and target markets to more effectively enable clients to uncover hidden cyber risks.
- Promote the company’s expertise by participating in industry conferences and events while regularly conducting and taking leadership roles in client and broker meetings to educate on evolving cyber risk.
- Maintain compliance with all internal and external underwriting guidelines and legal requirements.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- A bachelors degree or equivalent Experience
- A moderate- extensive amount of experience within Cyber and Technology underwriting experience or Underwriting experience in another area of expertise with a robust conceptual comprehension of data security, privacy, cyber and information risk.
- The ability to travel a minimum of 20% of the time is anticipated.

The U.S. pay range for this position is USD 95,000 186.500. Actual pay will be determined based upon the individuals skills, experience, and location. We strive for market alignment and internal equity with our colleagues pay.
