Job Summary
Avangrid Renewables is seeking a Manager-Contracts to report to the Contracts Director, develop contracting strategies and plans, and manage the tendering, negotiation, and execution of a wide range of offshore wind development contracts for the New England Wind project. The individual will assist in the management of contractual and commercial risks and seek out opportunities to optimize and drive the performance of various supplier contracts. The role requires an ability to develop unique contracts and work in a fast-paced working environment that can adapt to the dynamic needs of the US Offshore Wind Development Team.
This role will include working closely with the US Offshore Wind Contracts Team and staff from the Legal, Financial, Procurement and Insurance teams to ensure contracts are developed and managed effectively.
The successful candidate will support a variety of activities within offshore wind development, including environmental surveys, research, permitting, community outreach, stakeholder engagement, and engineering support.
