We are currently looking for an electrical specialist with PV experience to join their team. This is a great opportunity to join an established but fast growth developer in the Northeast and be an inhouse specialist on all things electrical for their projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical design, engineering, and compliance for community and utility-scale solar energy systems, ensuring integration with existing infrastructure.
- Develop and review electrical schematics, layouts, and technical specifications, conducting feasibility studies and performance analyses.
- Oversee project execution, providing technical support during construction, commissioning, and interconnection phases while managing external engineering consultants.
- Stay updated on solar technology, industry trends, regulatory changes, and ensure adherence to NYSERDA requirements and other relevant codes.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; PE license helpful but not required.
- 2+ years of electrical engineering experience in EPC, solar energy, and battery storage systems.
- Expertise in interconnection processes, regulatory compliance, and NYSERDA standards, with strong proficiency in electrical design software.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
