Consultant (Multiple Positions Available)
Design and develop highly available and scalable multi-tier enterprise applications.
Drive projects during all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in different domains.
Implement new functionalities to ensure high reliability, availability, and performance of the applications. Perform coding and designing solutions as per Business Requirement Document (BRD). Deploy technical code components for application project go-live in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production environments.
Plan and define testing strategies and perform Unit testing for code changes.
Review and obtain alignment/ sign-off on drafted testing scenarios, test cases, sample data for testing the application solution model and code.
Track all project related questions and defect trackers for maintaining all defects raised in System Integration Testing (SIT)/ UAT phases which will be used for defect prevention (DP) analysis.
Review project vision documents with business stakeholders, testing, and UAT teams to draft BRD for technical teams to define and develop IT architecture strategies and roadmaps.
Conduct impact investigation of requirements by scrutinizing BRD, prepare System Requirements (SR) by evaluating technical feasibility, conduct Technical Impact Assessments (TIA), conduct, and review technical High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve non-routine and very complex mission-critical production issues that immediately impact application availability. Work with development teams on permanent defect resolutions and ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA) are in compliance and within project code functionality. Map processes to holistically examine business flow and identify improvement opportunities.
Perform Unit and Integrations testing for the code changes done in programs and co-ordinate with different groups of interfacing systems and follow the change control process for production deployment.
Coordinate with offshore team to explain project requirements, ensure the timely manner of deliverables, and provide knowledge transfer to the team members.
Ensure quality deliverables from design to rollout phase using best practices.
May be assigned to and provide products to specific industry groups such as automotive, banking and finance, healthcare, insurance, and Information Technology.
REQUIREMENTS Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related.
Three (3) years of any occupation with Information Technology experience, or related.
Three (3) years of required IT, or related experience must include Platforms/ Technologies such as .NET Framework or ADO.Net.; Programming Languages such as C#.Net or PL/SQL; Web Technologies such as ASP.Net or XML Web Service; Scripting Languages such as JavaScript or JQuery; Source Control such as Azure DevOps or GIT; App/Web Servers IIS; Server Platform Windows Server; Tools such as SSIS/SSRS or Control-M; Databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or DB2; Agile Methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
ALTERNATE EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of any occupation with IT experience, or related. Must have skills listed above.
ROVING/TELECOMMUTING EMPLOYEE Reports to company headquarters in Plano, TX. Will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S. Can work remotely or telecommute.
