This is a contract-to-hire opportunity meaning this role will be temporary and have the potential to convert to a full-time opportunity. The Sales Manager, commercial will build and oversee a team of Business-to-Business Sales Representatives focused on generating sales to commercial customers. The manager is responsible for coaching and developing Sales Representatives, maintaining the operating structure, and leading the team towards achieving sales quotas. This role involves providing leadership to achieve sales objectives, operational enhancements, process compliance, and collaboration within the team and across the sales channel.
Arcadia is open to fully remote candidates and employees have access to co-working spaces.
- Leadership and Team Development
- Proven experience in building, leading, and developing a high-performing commercial team.
- Strong ability to coach, mentor, and train sales representatives to increase productivity and maintain sales goals.
- Demonstrated success in setting goals and objectives for the sales team and implementing strategies to enhance performance.
- Sales Strategy and Execution
- Expertise in developing and executing outbound lead generation strategies to optimize contact rates and drive sales.
- Ability to set realistic and achievable sales quotas and develop plans to meet and exceed these targets.
- Experience in designing and managing sales campaigns, promotions, and initiatives to stimulate sales growth.
- Operational Management
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experience in process optimization to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in sales operations.
- Commitment to ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
- CRM and Data Management
- Proficiency in using CRM software to manage customer data and sales activities.
- Ability to ensure CRM systems are accurate and up to date on a daily basis, leveraging data for strategic decisions.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Excellent communication skills to foster a collaborative environment within the team.
- Ability to serve as a liaison between the sales team and other departments, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Strong focus on maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and promptly resolving any customer issues.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
- Strong analytical skills to track and analyze sales metrics, prepare reports, and present insights to management.
- Ability to identify and implement improvements based on data-driven insights.
- Adaptability and Innovation
- Ability to stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Encouragement of a culture of innovation within the sales team to continuously improve sales strategies and operations.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial sales, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proficiency in sales and CRM software such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.

The Target Annual Compensation for this contract will be a base salary of $125K and a commission $125K. The exact compensation at which this job is filled will be determined by the skills, experience, and location of the qualified candidate.
