Position Title: Solar Advocate Phone Representative

Reports to: Marketing Manager

Status: Hourly, Nonexempt, with Bonuses / Commissions

Location: 1400 E. 66th Ave Unit B Denver, CO 80229

Apollo Energys mission is to educate homeowners on the benefits of switching to solar and create a future sustained with renewable, independent energy. The Solar Advocate Phone Representative explains the benefits of switching to solar for homeowners, sets appointments over the phone, collects electricity usage, and propels the overall mission of the company. The ideal candidate is persuasive, customer-service oriented, professional, personable, and an excellent communicator with an eye for detail. Because of our very positive reputation, our leads are inbound leads and are not cold calls. Additionally, Apollo Energy is among the 10% of solar companies that don’t subcontract any aspect of the solar marketing and installation process. This affords ample opportunity for growth as well as opportunities to learn about other aspects of solar energy not directly related to this position.

This role is incentivized with bonuses and commissions. An average representative will make $23-$27 per hour but there is no limit to earnings. A tenacious and high-performing individual can make $30+ per hour. $18 per hour is the base pay and absolute minimum of your earning potential.

Responsibilities

*Call internally canvassed leads and educate homeowners about the benefits and cost savings when switching to solar energy *Schedule free solar assessment for homeowners to demonstrate Apollo Energys solar energy products *Collect electricity usage with customers for scheduled assessments *Add appointments and necessary information to Google appointment calendar *Document all information in Zoho – the company CRM *Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

*A desire to help people and make a positive impact on the world *Motivated by career advancement and making a difference *Outgoing and friendly *Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment *Ability to multitask and coordinate with others *Detail oriented *Capable of making between 50-60+ phone calls and fostering several hours of talk-time per day *Efficient worker, with effective CRM skills *Strong sales ability and a willingness to learn *Drive to have positive and productive conversations

Requirements

*Ability to work reliably both independently and on a team *Prior phone-work experience is a plus *Regular, reliable, and predictable in-office attendance required *Authorized to work in the U.S.
