Vice President of Project Development

I am seeking a Vice President of Development to focus on the North East specialising in Utility Scale Solar and Storage projects. In this role, you will guide projects from origination through to construction.

The candidate will need extensive experience developing large scale renewable energy projects. To be successful in this role the candidate will need to be a self-starter, problem solver and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team’s efforts to originate and acquire new project sites in the North East
• Manage the interconnection process for all project sites
• Manage local permitting efforts
• Manage project budgets and development timelines
• Oversee a team of project developers

Requirements

• Over 8 years experience in renewable energy development
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Strong knowledge of permitting and zoning frameworks
• Strong knowledge of the interconnection process
• Communication and writing skills
