My client is a leading U.S. solar developer, partnering with major real estate firms to install and operate rooftop solar projects. With over 400 megawatts deployed and $1 billion invested, they also provide solar PPAs to municipalities, schools, and universities, and run an award-winning solar workforce development program.
Main Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the existing commercial solar project pipeline.
- Expand solar opportunities with commercial real estate owners through outreach, networking, and new partnerships, focusing on industrial and self-storage segments.
- Originate new solar energy opportunities with public and private sector clients.
- Track sales pipeline progress from new opportunities to closing, and support the project development team in execution.
- Collaborate with senior business development team members and leadership to qualify, prioritize, and negotiate community solar leases within target accounts.
- Work with proposal and business development analyst teams to evaluate project opportunities, manage timely responses, and prepare proposals.
- Act as a consultative seller to advise customers and partners on clean energy adoption, and interface with customer leadership, including C-suite, to drive expansion opportunities.
- Regularly interact with Solar Landscape leadership and engage with the policy department to understand incentives and policy frameworks.
