As an Innovation Support Analyst at American National you will support proof-of-concept and pilot project activities approved by the Innovation Manager and assist the Innovation business area leads as necessary. You will excel in this role if you feel comfortable communicating with vendors and internal stakeholders and have strong critical thinking and self-management skills. In this role you will enjoy a supportive team and an in-office environment out of Springfield, MO; Galveston, TX; or Glenmont, NY.

What Will You Do?
  • Develops proof-of-concept charters in coordination with Business Area Innovation Leads and business subject matter experts, and coordinate with project support teams as necessary including IT, Finance, Security, Architecture and Procurement.
  • Coordinates with Plug and Play associates for InsurTech and AgTech vertical activities including deal flow coordination.
  • Works with business area leads to help define innovation aiming points that help guide the startup Dealflow, POC and pilot activities.
  • Supports and plans the Enterprise Innovation Council (EIC) meetings, including agenda preparation and external speaker coordination.
  • Maintains the Innovation Council Teams page including updating the POC/Pilot database.
Qualifications
  • College degree.
  • One to two years of experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Technical competencies in Excel, Word, and Teams; PowerBI experience a plus.
