Job Description
Ameresco is seeking a Site Construction Manager to oversee the construction of projects nationwide, specifically; renewable natural gas (RNG) projects utilizing biomethane sources including landfill gas, wastewater treatment anaerobic digester gas, or agricultural anaerobic digester gas that is processed to achieve pipeline quality standards. NOTE: This is a travelling position that will require a 75-100% travel commitment.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Provide daily construction, administrative, and technical management of renewable natural gas (RNG) projects; Assist the Project Manager and Construction Director with weekly reporting, subcontractor payment approvals, project tracking, field quality management, and internal communications; Update the project team through daily reports and photos; Report daily issues to the project team; Facilitate responses to field-related questions and plan discrepancies by submitting requests for information; and assist with submittal procurement and approvals.
- Customer Relations and Field Operations: Serve as a liaison between the office and field operations; Manage customer service, relationships, and contractual obligations in the field; Provide a detailed 4-week look schedule for customer coordination and planning.
- Financial Management: Monitor project performance and forecast future cost projections; Manage project expenditures, job cost accounting processes, and change order documentation; Review subcontractor and vendor bids for timely delivery of project materials and services.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety standards, practices, and codes; Utilize Procore for construction-related tasks and activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or an equivalent is required.
- Minimum of five (5) years industrial power, electrical, mechanical, or engineering construction project management experience focusing on complex facility infrastructure construction, renovations, retrofits, upgrades, building controls and automation, and energy services.
Additional Qualifications:
- Proven experience with OSHA safety standards.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and foster positive business relationships.
- Strong verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Project, and Procore.
- Valid Drivers License in good standing, issued by resident state.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 – $165,000.00 per year
