We’re seeking a talented Sales Engineer to lead our business development effort in the Refining, Chemical Processing and Energy sector, with a focus on Renewables. Your role
As a Sales Engineer at Alleima, you’ll be part of an international company with ambitious plans. You’ll have the chance to make a real impact in advancing industries through materials technology. Travel is a natural part of this role, allowing you to broaden your horizons and build relationships with colleagues and customers both locally and worldwide. Role Description

  • Establish Alleima as preferred partner and tube provider within the Refining, Chemical Processing and Energy sector in the U.S. and Canada, with primary focus in the Gulf Coast.

  • Develop and execute sales strategy together with Product Manager and Technical Marketing department to achieve targeted sales growth.

  • As account manager for large, international accounts primarily with focus on New Business Development.

  • Regularly meet with customers, partners, end users and internal production units.

  • Participate in trade shows and conferences to identify new customers and promote the Alleima brand.

  • Provide commercial and technical solutions and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements.

  • Be part of the daily business process where you together with the sales organization make decisions regarding quotes, projects, and commercial agreements.

  • Stay on top of industry trends and technologies to anticipate current and future needs.

Your profile

You are a person who likes to set the standard for professional accomplishment in an agile business environment. You care about the customer experience and continuously seek to deliver beyond expectations. You are a solutions provider. You have a brilliant strategic mindset, and a talent for business development. You excel at building relationships and identifying new opportunities.

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Materials, Chemical, Mechanical, Petroleum) preferred, or Business Administration.

  • Five years of experience in business development, technical sales or account management.

  • Excellent understanding of Petroleum Refinery sector with contacts in the industry. Solid conventional & renewable energy and/or chemical processing industry background.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and strong commercial acumen.

  • Natural problem-solver.

  • Excellent spoken and written English skills, command of Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
