The Senior Director, Commercial, will lead the US Utilities’ efforts to provide reliable energy at the lowest cost reasonably possible, as we transform our portfolio to the low carbon energy future. As part of the leadership team reporting to the US Utilities Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Director, Commercial will work closely with leaders in Generation, T&D, Finance, Regulatory and the US Utilities President to drive short-term and long-term strategies to optimize customer value now and into the future.
The Senior Director, Commercial, will lead and structure the organization managing commercial activities and resource planning. The team will include the following functions – power and fuel purchases and hedging, MISO market dispatch, load forecasting, Integrated Resource Planning, project development and procurement related to the transition of the AES Indiana fleet, and market modelling and analytics.
