AES is seeking a Director, Project Controls for US Renewables. This roles primary responsibilities include overseeing internal Scheduling and Cost Management teams, Document Controls, and Labor Compliance Management. The successful candidate will have a depth of experience in the renewable energy industry, including functions related to project controls and management, construction progress reporting and data management, process improvement and change management and stakeholder management and have an ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment. This position can be based remotely or in an office, reporting to the Vice President of Preconstruction, and will focus on DG and utility-scale solar and battery storage projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for reporting, planning and directing Project Controls functions, coordinating and collaborating with the full Project Team from Early-stage Development through Project Completion and Handover to Operations:
The Project Controls Director must be able and willing to develop robust data systems and reporting to facilitate review of project status across all Controls functions. This role will also interface with full Preconstruction teams (Preconstruction Project Management, Estimating, Execution Strategy) to incorporate market data and Lessons Learned.

The expected salary for this position, at commencement of employment, is between $170.000 and $221.000/Annual; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements such as annual bonus, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, life, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
