About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil engineering within the EPC sector, particularly with a focus on solar energy projects. This role involves overseeing the design, planning, and execution of civil engineering aspects of solar projects, including shading analysis and wetland management, to ensure successful and timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Planning: Develop detailed civil engineering designs and plans for solar energy projects, including site grading, drainage, structural foundations, and shading analysis to optimize solar panel performance.
- Shading Analysis: Conduct shading studies to evaluate and mitigate potential shading impacts on solar panels from nearby structures, vegetation, or other obstacles.
- Wetlands Management: Assess and manage wetland areas within project sites to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and minimize impact on local ecosystems.
- Project Management: Oversee and coordinate civil engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, from initial planning to final construction and commissioning.
- Site Assessment: Conduct site assessments to determine the suitability of land for solar installations, including geotechnical investigations and environmental impact assessments.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all civil engineering work complies with local, state, and federal regulations, including obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure integrated and efficient project delivery.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of engineering practice are adhered to.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to shading and wetlands and develop mitigation strategies to address any issues that may arise during the project.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on project progress, including any deviations from the plan and proposed solutions.
Compensation details: 80000-120000 Yearly Salary
