Lead Solar Installer / Electrician

Job Description:
- Take a project from plans to completed, inspected and approved installation, ready for interconnections with the utilities.
Communicate with Project Manager daily, update job status and progress.
- Execute and facilitate clean electrical runs and roof layout.
- Assemble solar array racking, properly seal all roof penetrations, install all relative equipment and set up solar monitoring system.
- Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on safety on job sites.
- Communicate with customers in a professional, considerate, and respectful manner, answering all questions and concerns to the best of your knowledge.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades people.
- View project plans and drawings and ensure that the project is built according to design and Electrical Code.
Requirements:
- California drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Fluent in English (Spanish speaking is a plus).
- Physically able to lift >50 pounds.
- Team player who will fit in well with coworkers.
- Construction knowledge to include: roofing, electrical, and carpentry skills.
- 3+ years solar or 5+ years electrical experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience supervising and facilitating others.
- Experience bending conduit.
- Available to work extended hours if need be.
- Positive work history and ability to maintain solid, punctual attendance.
- Construction is inherently dangerous. There will be regular exposure to discomforting/irritating factors such as; outdoor weather conditions, confined space, heights.
- Energy Storage knowledge and experience is a plus.
- Working understanding and skill set with Enphase is a huge plus
- Understanding of battery systems a huge plus.
- CONDUIT BENDING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $36.00 per hour
