A1 Sun will be interviewing and hiring for multiple positions, from experienced crew leads to entry level installers.

A1 Sun is a local, quality driven, Alameda County Green Certified, Solar and Energy Storage Design and Installation firm. • Experience in solar and energy storage optimal. Experience in electrical and/or trades a plus. No experience necessary for entry level positions, as long as you consistently do your best, improve, and aim to exceed expectations.

Entry Level Installer (compensation based on experience and skills):

• Valid California drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Fluent in English (Spanish speaking is a plus).
• Physically able to lift >50 pounds.
• Strong sense of ethics.
• General construction knowledge to include: roofing, electrical, and carpentry skills.
• Available to work extended hours if need be.
• Commitment to safety.
• Construction is inherently dangerous. There will be regular exposure to discomforting/irritating factors such as; outdoor weather conditions, confined space, heights.
• Positive work history and ability to maintain solid, punctual attendance.

Lead Installer/Crew Lead (compensation based on experience and skills):

We expect an experienced installer to exhibit all of the traits listed for an entry level position plus:

• 3 + years solar and electrical experience.
• Comfortable communicating with clients, coworkers, and other trades people.
• Conduit bending experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $36.00 per hour

Work Location: Warehouse located in Berkeley/On the road

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 – $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 45 per week
