The Project Manager applies project management framework and uses an interdisciplinary process to ensure that customer and stakeholder needs are satisfied. Responsibilities include working with leadership both within and external to the Department in the translation of strategic goals into tactical action plans, identification of key data elements, and ensuring the collection, interpretation and reporting of results in collaboration with key stakeholders. The position will collaborate with leaders, providers and staff to design, implement, and monitor improvement solutions and implement strategic initiatives and goals. The incumbent will become familiar with all potential sources of data inputs. Under the direction of the Department Director of Information Technology and the Department leadership team, this position will interact with leaders, clinicians, educators, researchers, front-line staff and other stakeholders from throughout UW-Madison and UW Health.
