Do you already feel like E&C is a place for you? Let’s see if this particular role is also what you’re good at. As a Consultant you will be trusted with:
- Risk Strategy: our clients need someone they trust to help them minimize risks when buying energy. You will be their guide and assist them in putting together a good purchasing and renewable strategy and negotiating energy contracts
- Market Analysis: conducting market research to identify key trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape within the energy risk management sector
- Sustainability and green energy buying: finding the best sustainable solutions (solar, wind, cogenerations) and supporting clients in contracting them
- Projects: you will investigate the possibilities of renewable power purchase agreements for your clients.
We feel that to be successful & satisfied in this role, it’s good that you have:
- Competencies: confident communication style, resilience, curiosity and eagerness to learn, creativity in finding solutions and solving problems. It’s also helpful to be well organized and have a flair for managing multiple priorities
- Analytical thinking: you will be involved in the tendering process, where you will have to interpret the data and draw conclusions from it, and make calculations
- Experience in client facing roles: 1-2 years would be great, however if you have less or more, but still feel it’s a fit, do not hesitate to apply
- Education: bachelors degree in Consulting, Business or Energy Management, or a related field is preferred. Yet again – if you have a different one but still feel the thrill, let this not stop you!
- Knowledge: basic understanding of energy markets, risk management solutions, and regulatory environment in North America are nice to have but we will be providing in-depth training upon onboarding
- Keen interest in energy: you will be following energy market trends and local regulations and share them with your clients
- Travel: willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and collaborate with team members (internationally).
