This position is based at Nikkiso ACD, LLC, located in Santa Ana, CA.

Job Overview:

Working within the ACD Operations department and reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for transaction in the ERP system, Cycle Counts and inventory management, input and logging of work order information into Excel, ability to investigate and follow through any variance issues. Warehouse duties, including shipping, and receiving, unloading and loading trucks, fulfilling job orders, and keeping the warehouse stocked with essential equipment. The Warehouse Associate also supports daily plant operations to ensure safety and efficiency in compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Assign material (shorts) to WO
  • Review material was issued correctly to WO
  • Pull correct parts and quantity for REQ, work order.
  • Receive drop ship PO
  • Assisted in pulling of OP orders
  • Login all work orders, Batch and sales orders pulled; highlight expedites.
  • Deliver pulled work orders, REQS and batches in a timely matter.
  • Keep up with 5 S (Sort, Standardize, set in order, Shine and Sustain)
  • Accurately and efficiently sorts, counts and verifies incoming inventory on as-needed basis and as part of general cycle counting program
  • Lifts and transfers inventory from receiving dock to different points in the warehouse
  • Moving material within the warehouse based on direction of the warehouse manager
  • Assigns stock location under the direction of the inventory specialist
  • Verifies receipt of customer owned equipment delivered to ACD
  • Perform Warehouse Related material, work order, sales order and cycle count system transactions.
  • Issues of material based on project requirements under the direction of warehouse manager
  • Utilizes a forklift, order picker and pallet rider to unload, move, stack and stage products and materials
  • Perform cycle counts (counting)
  • Ensure that stockroom is neat, clean, organized, and accurate, at all times
  • Supporting inventory and receiving specialists with inventory, receiving functions
  • Support the shipping department when needed
  • General warehouse duties as specified by warehouse manager
  • Organization of material for use by operations department

Qualifications:

  • Five years warehouse experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in inventory control and cycle counting process
  • Teamwork, accuracy, and accountability
  • Must work overtime as needed
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
  • Intermediate computer skills, comfortable with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • A minimum of 5 year working in a warehouse within production environment
  • Experience with use of Encompix, Oracle, SAP or equivalent is desired

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • In order to perform the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or control
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Overtime may be necessary as the workload dictates. This may include week days, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
  • Job will generally be performed in a shop environment and may require travel to a Client’s office, production facility or industrial/construction job site. Conditions will vary at each location, but the conditions listed above will generally apply.

Wage:
$25.00 – $30.00 per hour
